Swedish water flooding

Our family and friends took Brant and I to a local site where a famous Factory once produced a lot of great products there in Jonkoping.I use to use some of it's products before it was bought out a while back by another large group.

The factory was going to be a treat for me to visit as I love mechanical and Historic places and sites.

We came by and it just so happened that this day they were draining the water reserve above the plant that drove the electrical turbines and made electrical power for the place.

Since the factory closed it was making power for other places near by.

They flush the old water reserve out once in a while to keep the water clean and from build-up of slime and other fungi!

Anyways I walked out onto the bridge that let's you enter the factory that crosses the small stream.

You can see the small water falls from the normal levels from the water reserve.

They divert the water from the large tubes that forces the water into the tubes to drive the turbines. This way they can clean the turbines and the water can be flushed.

The water started coming down pretty fast, and I looked over at the other side of the bridge, and noticed several ducks just paddeling around or sleeping there in the shallow water among the rocks.

All of a sudden the water came rushing down the hill side like a mighty river and then started pushing the still waters quickly down stream.

The ducks began to look around and it was just too funny to watch them as they turned back and saw a mountain of water rushing towards them.

The water level rose sharply and they began being pushed down stream at a pretty good clip.

I laughed so hard I thought I would bust a gut! The ducks floated and were just riding along as if-"So What's Up With This?"

Not one duck was harmed but it is like waking up a few sleeping soldiers and you start barking orders and they are going nuts with confusion.

It was a pretty good sight to see and I had a laugh so it was a great day for me.

The water smelled, but then again what do you expect being stored in a reserve.

It was a great visit to the former factory site.
I want to thank my family and friends in Jonkoping for making it a specail day for me.
