These are from her property at Ekero Island.

When you get to Stockholm you gotta take a picture of a slob, like me, near the ABBA Photo at the Main Airport.

When you land it is right before you go and fetch your bags at the baggage claims area.

I acted just like the next slob and found the Photo and stood by it while I made my Lawyer take a shot of me standing there like a normal American Tourist should!

The rest are from around her property at Ekero. She likes her security so I will not post anything to offend her privacy.

The place is pretty and the lake running along side her place was a little cold this time of year.

The wind was also up so make sure you always take a coat should you go there, no matter what time a year it is.

Agnetha's Joint and Island Locations

There is a few places for you to stop and eat a picnic or just take pictures along the road to Agnetha's place on Ekero Island.

Give a stop or two and you can see some pretty country around her place.

The ramps are clear and the water cold no matter what time of year you are there. Just be prepared for warm or cold weather all the time.

The wind picks up about her lake area so dress the part.

The small shopping area near her home has two joints that serve Pizza.

I like to get out and see Agnetha's Places, so I hope the rest of you like the shots.

Plan your trip to Sweden to see the museum slowly and get a good camera or two in case you have issues with the way it works or gets damaged.

Like I said-They are not ready for the flow of people coming to see them and the Museum all over the city of Stockholm or Jonkoping!

Take extra cash for switching out to Swedish Kroner and make sure your charge cards work there before you leave home.
There are a lot of things to collect and buy over there.

Agnetha's older home in Jonkoping where she grew up

This is where she use to live when she was younger and where she worked until she made it big in the music world.

The apartments are average size for Sweden and one young man in one window liked to flip the bird at people passing by on the street.

The place where she worked is a BMW and VW car dealership now.

I spoke to the one salesman there in the show room, and told me they have had no one come in and ask about where she worked while he has been there for over 5 years to his knowledge.

Jonkoping is not prepared for the people who would travel there from around the World shortly.

So make plans to have a Hotel room and go on line and get the Bus Schedules and locations before you go. Try to stay at least a couple of days if you can, as there is so much to see in Jonkoping.

I would suggest a rental car if you can afford it and drive down from Stockholm.

There is plenty of things to see along the way to Jonkoping.

I stopped at one place to get some gas for the Volvo we rented, and found a small store next to the place with some CDs there.

They remove the CDs and place them in holder behind the desk at the check out counter at many places over there. The empty Jewel Cases for the CDs are on diplay for you to touch and look at.

You go to the counter and they will place the CD inside the case for you.
I found a great CD with many Popular Hits today on the charts being played over there last week.

CDs are cheaper in Jonkoping than in Stockholm. Many times you can get two for the price of one in Jonkoping versus Stockholm.

Ekero Island Sweden

The reason I wear a hat at her place some times is to remember my combat buddy who I lost in VietNam.
We said we would go back to where ever she lived and soak our toes in the Lake near her house like we did years ago in the 1960s.
The wind was up so my hat tilted to one side. No matter what I think I am still good to go!

The next shots are of her property and you can tell by the clouds rolling in it is pretty even in bad weather.

You should rent a boat for a short trip out to see her lake side view if you want.

Just don't land or get too close to her shore lines.

Yes! She drives around the island and does her business in the small town and around the places she has to get to as well.

She very independent and does not like to hurt anyone's feelings, just do not crowd her on the street if you spot her.

Her property is well maintained and yes she has a great location to live.

You can zoom in the shot and see the next island close to her. One location says that their shot is of her house and island and that is not true.

You can tell how close the next island is and the face of the rocks and island does not allow for landing properly for any craft.

She has a dock site but unless you know your craft of boating-forget landing there.
The water is swift towards the channel.

She is a normal person and she is a good singer, mother, and grand mother now. You could not ask for anyone better to speak to or deal with.

When you travel to Ekero Island, be a good sport and do not act silly. The people out there are more hardy than the city folks you meet.

I got a chance to stay with some and they are still good to me as they always have been.

She does shop at the ICA corner store up the road from her house and does like Chinese and Pizza food stocks!

Just don't ask what she likes from the sotres she buys goods from.

Lake Ferry Tour near Jonkoping, Sweden

This is a great place to visit and sit down and munch out on some candy you buy up the road at the Candy Peppermint City.

The water is clear and the air is crisp most of the time.

They have a great dock area and it is easy to get to off the main high way that runs to Stockholm or back to Jonkoping.

You go on the ferry and out to a local island, then you walk around eating ice cream and strawberries, and then you ride a bike or take in the sights you get to see.

Great place to go into the woods. Not a bad bunch of viewing for the day-I mean the scenes of the trees and islands was good.

I like the part about sitting around and just soaking up the views the best.

The dock area has swimming and other small stores for snacks and family gatherings.

Kinda like a Summer Holiday place to get you started out to the islands.
